The Clinical Linguistics & Disparities Lab at the University of Iowa has an outstanding opportunity for a temporary research assistant to work approximately 20 hours/week between March and May 2025 to support a bilingual speech intervention study.
The Clinical Linguistics and Disparities Lab uses descriptive linguistic methods, computational approaches, intervention study designs, and community-engaged research practices to investigate speech and language development and improve assessment and intervention for understudied populations with speech and language impairments.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform research activities based on existing protocols.
Conduct literature reviews as directed.
Collect, record, and consolidate data as directed by the PI.
Collect and track data, perform data entry and analysis.
Develop materials for research projects.
Develop code for research projects.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Linguistics
Knowledge of Spanish.
Experience with Python, JavaScript.
