The Research and Graduate Studies Librarian connects the University community with the library\'s resources, services, spaces, and collections beneficial to their teaching, learning, and research, with a particular focus on library\'s engagement with the University\'s graduate programs.

The successful Research and Graduate Studies Librarian will foster relationships with faculty, students; and collaborates with other librarians to deliver library services across the institution. This position will develop a working rapport amongst students and faculty to help foster scholarly research at all levels. Part of this work will include providing reference and research consultations; and the creation and maintenance of research guides and other information tools to assist users and facilitate library engagement.

The Research and Graduate Studies Librarian is a full-time 12-month position

Requirements:

An MLS, MLIS, or equivalent degree is required, and a minimum of 2 years of progressively responsible experience in an academic library, with demonstrated competency in the development of instruction and engagement to foster scholarly research, is strongly preferred.
