Summary

Position Summary

A Respiratory Therapist I is responsible for performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as required by the hospital and within the scope of licensure in Maine.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

Education: Graduate from an approved one, two, or four-year college.

License/Certifications: CRTT or RRT with appropriate State License. BLS. ACLS within two years of hire. PALS within two years of hire.

Experience: Due to institutional size and often-limited training opportunities, a candidate with two to three (2-3) years critical care experience is preferred.
