Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests promptly with a friendly demeanor. Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage options. Take accurate orders and relay them to the kitchen staff efficiently. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Serve food and drinks in a timely manner while ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal and address any concerns promptly. Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly, ensuring all payments are processed correctly. Assist with food preparation as needed, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy shifts.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary setting is preferred but not required. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations is an asset. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Familiarity with POS systems such as OpenTable is advantageous. Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A friendly attitude with a commitment to providing outstanding hospitality. Must be able to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
