Supervise and participate in all front of house duties as required for day-to-day operations of the restaurant. Train and enforce standards to front of house staff to provide superior guest service. Assist co-workers in offering the best experiences possible to restaurant guests, supporting the AAA Four Diamond brand expectation
Duties and Responsibilities
Train staff to properly use POS system, service steps, reservations, and all standard operating procedures.
Enforce policies, service standards and procedures that result in a consistently high level of service and customer satisfaction for the restaurant
Create a feeling of teamwork and employee involvement.
Ensure compliance with all state and federal food and beverage laws and regulations.
Deliver a high level of guest service according to standards of management and in conjunction with other departments involved.
Promote The Osthoff Resort\xe2\x80\x99s service principles by example; respond to/ resolve guest or employee inquires, complaints or concerns in a courteous, timely and efficient manner. Make sure to inform Manager/Supervisor of problems.
Maintain service presentation, sanitation, and safety.
Staying updated on current menu choices, specialties and menu deviations, 86\xe2\x80\x99ed items
Maintaining proper dining experience
Assist in maintaining supplies for efficient operations.
Observe and evaluate workers and work procedures to ensure quality standards and service, and complete disciplinary write-ups.
Assign duties, responsibility and workstations to employees in accordance with work requirements.
Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas to ensure efficient service and conformance to standards.
Analyze operational problems, such as theft and wastage, establish procedures to alleviate these problems.
Record production, operational, and personnel data on specified forms.
Perform various financial activities such as cash exchanging in the safe, daily cash handling.

Ensure staff has perform beginning/end shift side work.

Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma
Be 18 years of age with Bartending License/Liquor License
Must have 1-year previous restaurant
Skilled trainer of service technique and customer satisfaction skills.
Able to build relationships with guests to encourage word of mouth business.

Working Conditions Working conditions vary based on business needs. Work may entail both indoor and outdoor activities, nights, weekends, and holidays, as necessary. Environment can be fast paced, high energy, and Associate will need to be able to multi-task and prioritizes duties during service. Associate will also be expected to help other Osthoff Associates.
