Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, assisting them with their shopping needs, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for retail and a strong ability to communicate effectively with customers.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store. Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately using POS systems. Demonstrate & provide energized, helpful, genuine and knowledgeable service to the customer throughout the store. Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor by restocking shelves and arranging displays. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues with professionalism and courtesy. Utilize retail math skills to assist with inventory management and sales reporting. Uphold company policies regarding returns, exchanges, and customer service standards. Ability to work independently or with a team. Know the store's daily goal and actively well to ensure the goal is met. Self-confident and self-motivated with a positive attitude and approach to work. A desire to learn and obtain knowledge. Maintain a professional and harmonious working environment with peers

Qualifications

Proven retail sales experience with a focus on meeting and exceeding targets Proficiency in using POS systems and Microsoft Excel & Word for sales transactions and data analysis Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail calculations Prior experience in retail sales, particularly in a retail apparel store setting is a must Excellent english communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage with customers clearly and professionaly. Strong communication skills & etiquette to effectively interact with customers and team members Ability to climb, reach, bend and lift up to 30 lbs.

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour, commensurate to experience
