Responsibilities

Greet and assist customers with a friendly, positive attitude, helping them locate products and offering personalized shopping advice. Demonstrate product features and benefits through engaging presentations to boost customer confidence and encourage

. Handle customer inquiries via phone and in person, ensuring timely responses and providing solutions to drive

sales

. Operate the cash register accurately, processing payments and handling cash transactions efficiently. Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring that products are neatly displayed and well-stocked to maximize

sales

potential. Communicate current promotions, special offers, and new arrivals to customers, driving

sales

and enhancing the shopping experience. Assist with inventory management, including receiving shipments and restocking shelves to ensure product availability. Work collaboratively with the team to achieve

sales

goals and improve overall store performance.

Requirements

Previous retail or

sales

experience is preferred but not required. Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and build relationships with a diverse customer base. Basic math skills, ensuring accurate cash handling and transaction processing. Previous cash handling experience is a plus. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply for enhanced customer interaction and service. Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends, to meet business needs. A passion for providing excellent customer service in a grocery store environment is highly desirable.
