About us Red Pine Quilt Shop is a small business based in Detroit Lakes, MN. We are innovative and our goal is to inspire our customers! We are both a local business and a growing online store that is constantly evolving to adapt to the changing retail marketplace. Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the store, including sales, customer service, and inventory management
- Lead and motivate a team of sales associates to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service
- Develop and implement strategies to increase store profitability and meet budget goals
- Train and develop staff on product knowledge, sales techniques, and store policies
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including cash handling and loss prevention measures
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations in a professional manner
- Process, pack and ship online orders Skills:
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks, and make sound decisions
- Experience in training and development of staff
- Strong administrative skills and attention to detail
- Computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word and Excel
- Ability to manage stock levels and inventory control
