Retail Store Manager

to play a key role in the store's planning, development, and continued growth. This is a unique opportunity to shape the success of a brand-new retail experience in Juneau!

Summary

The

Retail Store Manager

will oversee all aspects of daily operations, ensuring a seamless customer experience while meeting and exceeding sales goals. This position is integral to building the store's reputation, leading a dynamic team, managing inventory, driving marketing initiatives, and ensuring overall business success. As we prepare for launch, the manager will be actively involved in store planning, product selection, and operational development.

Key ResponsibilitiesStore Leadership & Operations

Lead all day-to-day store operations to ensure efficiency, profitability, and outstanding customer service. Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing team, fostering a positive and motivated work environment. Establish sales goals and implement strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets consistently. Maintain and optimize store layout, merchandising, and product displays to enhance customer experience. Ensure seamless integration of inventory management, staff scheduling, and operational systems with Bauer/Clifton Interiors and Frenchie's Floral Studio.

Sales, Customer Engagement & Marketing

Cultivate a strong customer base by delivering top-tier service and building lasting relationships. Develop and execute in-store promotions, marketing campaigns, and social media initiatives to drive traffic and sales. Analyze sales data to identify trends, adjust strategies, and maximize revenue potential. Oversee product selection and purchasing, ensuring a well-curated inventory aligned with customer demand and store identity. Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and issue resolution with professionalism and care.

Financial & Administrative Management

Monitor and control operating expenses, ensuring profitability and adherence to budget goals. Maintain financial records, process transactions, and track sales performance. Submit purchase orders, approve vendor contracts, and manage supplier relationships. Oversee scheduling, payroll submissions, and performance evaluations for staff.

Qualifications & Experience

Experience in Retail management; preferably in home goods, lifestyle, or boutique retail. Strong background in sales leadership, inventory management, and customer service. Proficiency in POS systems, e-commerce platforms, and social media marketing. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced, evolving retail environment. Passion for design, home decor, and creating a distinctive shopping experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
