OverviewWe are Hiring at University HospitalLocation: 530 S Jackson St. Louisville KY, 40202Shift Options: FULL-TIME DAYS 7A-7PAbout the Unit9 West is a 10-bed surgical trauma intensive care unit. Clinicians on this unit enjoy caring for a variety of injuries as a result of auto accidents, falls, gun shots, etc. Our patients may range in age from 16 (if size of an adult) to 99 years old. The other strength of this unit is the staff\'s skills in working with families, friends, and love ones of their patients.ResponsibilitiesJob SummaryThe Registered Nurse provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.QualificationsRequired Qualifications
- Licensed or eligible for license in Kentucky
- Basic Life Support (BLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required for some units
- Associates\xe2\x80\x99s degree from accredited college or University
- Bachelor\'s degree from accredited college or University
