About the unitCorewell Health\xe2\x80\x99s Betty Ford Breast Care Services Team provides patients with high-quality navigation services through its Partners Providing a Full Continuum of Breast Health Services Nurse Navigation Program. Through this program, we provide patients with support from Nurse Navigators at every step of their diagnostic, treatment, and survivorship journeys. Each year, our Nurse Navigators work with over 15,000 patients. National Breast Cancer Foundation funding is specifically used to provide salary support for our Pre-Diagnostic Nurse Navigators, who work with patients throughout the screening/diagnostic process after they receive an abnormal screening result. They provide critical education, emotional support, appointment coordination, patient advocacy, and referrals to specialists for further care and treatment. Our Pre-Diagnostic Nurse Navigators support over 700 low-income and uninsured/underinsured patients each year.About Outpatient ClinicsCorewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, bringing a multitude of care options to the communities that we serve. There are over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices, which allows those who work in these clinics the opportunity to learn and explore various interests or to specialize in one area.Scope of workResponsible and accountable for the overall nursing care management of an assigned group of patients. Collaborates with the Nurse Manager and other members of the health care team to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Uses clinical judgment skills to diagnose and treat the patient\'s responses to actual or potential health conditions. Assesses, monitors, detects, plans, and takes appropriate action to prevent potential physiological complications associated with specific health problems and / or medical treatment.How we will care for you, while you care for our patients

Qualifications

• Associate\'s Degree Nursing or Equivalent Required
• Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) Preferred
• MI Registered Nurse (RN) Required
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required within 90 days
• Two years of experience as an RN strong preferred
