This active Perioperative department features 6 Operating Rooms and performs over 8,000 cases annually. The comprehensive service line includes Pre-op, Pre-Anesthesia Testing, Recovery, and Sterile Processing departments. This department features state-of-the-art technologies and performs Orthopedic, Vascular, Obstetrics, and other cases.

Reporting directly to the Chief Nursing Officer, the Acute Care Surgery OR Nurse Director will oversee 120 FTEs across assigned areas. The RN Director of Surgical Services has oversight of budgetary needs, hiring and firing of staff, ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies, and leading quality improvement initiatives. The Acute Care Surgery OR Nurse Director is also responsible for helping establish the new Interventional Radiology suite and Outpatient Surgery Center scheduled to open in the coming months.
