Job Description
Role: RN - EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT Location: Valdez, AK Duration: Permanent/FTE Facility: Hospital Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Alaska Registered Nurse License upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- 1 year Nursing experience
- Triage cases in order of urgency and need.
- Work with ER staff to stabilize incoming patients.
- Set broken bones.
- Perform tracheotomies and intubations.
- Give stitches and sutures.
- Start intravenous lines (IVs).
- Administer medication\xe2\x80\x94as instructed by physicians.
