As an ER Nurse at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Enumclaw, Wa, you\'ll be the first touchpoint to the people in our community during health emergencies.

No two days in emergency nursing are ever the same. You\'re a multitasker who can react quickly as you\'ll prioritize patients based on their medical necessity while you\'re providing emergency triage to others. As part of our ER team, you\'ll partner with an experienced clinical team to deliver stabilizing care to our patients by performing IV starts, foley catheter insertions, or aiding providers with chest tube insertions.

St. Elizabeth is a 25-bed Rural Community Hospital located in the town of Enumclaw, Washington. We are part of the Virginia Mason Franciscan health system in the Pacific Northwest, offering a seamless connected system that offers quality care close to home.

Current Incentives for qualifying external Nurses with a 2 year commitment:

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse you will be responsible for delivering the highest quality patient care according to the specific orders of each patient\'s individual physician. This will involve utilizing your knowledge and skills to educate patients and their families on prevention and healthy habits.

Additional responsibilities for this health care role include: Monitoring patients\' conditions and assessing their needsCollaborating with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care plans for patientsAdministering patients\' medications and providing treatments according to physicians\' ordersFostering a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families.

• Use emergency triage protocol to intake, discharge or admit patients.
• Deliver stabilizing care to emergency patients of all ages as part of the larger ER team, adapting care to changes in patient\'s condition as needed.
• Use knowledge of cultural differences to provide patient care that is sensitive to and consistent with cultural values, beliefs, and customs. Document the nursing care plan and changes in the patient\'s condition.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license that allows you to practice in our state
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Experience as a Registered Nurse preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required
• Specialty certification (ex: CCRN, CNOR, CEN) preferred
• Additional certification or licensure may be required for some specialty areas

Pay Range
$41.34 - $69.80 /hour
