Job Summary and Qualifications

• Responsible for facilitating patient transfer in accordance with policy and procedure.
• Assure standards of performance are maintained as they relate to each individual department, with patient safety as the primary goal.
• Display appropriate level of management acumen in effective conflict resolution involving staff, physicians or customers.
• Exercise independent judgment within the context of interdisciplinary patient care.
• You will have the general clinical responsibility for patient care departments for a specific shift.

What Qualifications You Will Need:

• Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation.
• BLS certification required and maintained.
• Two years clinical nursing experience required.
• One year supervisory or charge nurse experience.
