A 32-bed medical inpatient unit that offers a unique opportunity to get both medical and mental health experience. We are looking for candidates who have a passion for managing the complex needs of medical patients such as Pneumonia, COPD exacerbation, Liver/Kidney Failure management, infectious disease management, dementia, depression, catatonia, anxiety disorders, addiction, schizophrenia, and bipolar Disorder. This floor is a great place to refine your assessment skills as a new or experienced nurse. Additionally you will have the opportunity to become an expert in managing patients with complex behavioral health and addiction needs. This floor is a great place to refine your assessment skills as a new or experienced nurse and sets you up great if you have a future interest in ICU, Inpatient Behavioral Health, Eating Disorders Unit or the Emergency Department.
