Manages individualized, goal directed nursing care through use of the nursing process and the principles of primary nursing in accordance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures and standards of nursing practice.
REQUIREMENTS:
Associate's Degree in Nursing
If new graduate, a 12-Week Precepteeship in Med/Surg unit must be completed.
State of Alaska RN Licensure or Eligible to Obtain
BLSP (CPR) from the American Heart Association
PREFERRED:
1 year of Med/Surg Nursing experience.
Certified Medical-Surgical RN (CMSRN) from the Medical-Surgical Nursing Certification Board.
