What to Expect:
Part 1: StaRN Training (5-8 weeks depending on specialty):
Instructor-led classroom training
State-of-the-art simulation and certifications
Charting systems training
Monday-Friday schedule with 40-hour work weeks
Part 2: StaRN Clinical Preceptorship (7-8 weeks depending on specialty):
Hospital-based preceptorship with one-on-one training
Regular development meetings and customized coaching
Three 12-hour shifts at the hospital
Part 3: HCA Residency Program - First Year
Transition to full-time role at the hospital
Ongoing professional development and mentorship
Completion of an evidence-based capstone project
Requirements:
Current South Carolina RN license or Multi-state Compact RN license (or ability to obtain)
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing within the past year
Full-time commitment to the hospital for two years
Self-motivated with strong communication skills
Attendance is imperative throughout the StaRN Training program
