Responsibilities: The role of the clinical nurse is to deliver patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient needs with the highest professional standard while promoting nursing excellence through continued education and research, based on the Title 22 and Title 16, the ANA Scope & Standards of Practice, the Code of Ethics.

Possible high-risk antepartum care, labor support, C-sections, and newborn care; your role leads to safe deliveries for healthy moms and babies. Both Community Regional Medical Center and Clovis Community Medical Center have been recognized by the Joint Commission for excellence in perinatal care. These high standards for integrated, patient-centered care are met as a team. In this role, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and provide support throughout the women\'s service line. The Clovis L&D unit has 16 beds and the Community Regional L&D unit has 22 beds, plus 19 Antepartum High Risk beds. Qualifications: Education Background

• Graduate of approved nursing program.
• Bachelors of Science Nursing (BSN) preferred

Licensure, Registration, Certification

• Current California Registered Nurse License.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.

Work Experience

• Consistent demonstration of Novice / Advance Beginner clinical nursing practice proficiency.
