As an Registered Nurse on our Ortho/Joint Trauma Unit in Boise, you will have the opportunity to practice to the top of your license while providing guidance, direction, and support to patient care staff. We are looking for a Full-Time Nights RN working three 12-hour shifts a week.

This position is eligible for a $10,000 Sign On Bonus and may be eligible for a generous relocation assistance package depending on location

More About Us

Our 32 bed Ortho/Joint Trauma Unit provides specialty care for patients recovering from a variety of orthopedic issues. This can include multi-extremity fractures due to accidents, as well as fall-related factures caused by medical conditions, which often results in complex care requirements. We are Joint Commission certified in Total Joint Hip and Knee Replacement and work with board certified orthopedists.

Introducing a New Care Model

We are excited to introduce Trinity Health Virtual Connected Care -a transformational team care model designed to improve patient care while providing nurses and care partners new opportunities and support. Locally based virtual RNs (vRNs) provide 24/7 care and help to patients and their families, while collaborating with bedside RNs and care partners to provide excellent care.

Virtual RNs (vRNs) provide onsite care 24/7 utilizing technology.
Trinity Health Virtual Connected Care utilizes onsite virtual nurses (vRNs) to provide expert level support through technology. These experienced nurses communicate directly with patients via an in-room TV monitor allowing patients to have access to the care team at any time.

Bedside RNs and Care Partners are able collaborate with experienced vRNs.
Trinity Health Virtual Connected Care provides mentoring and support for you as a bedside nurse and other care partners through the 24/7 support of the onsite virtual nurse. Our team model allows early career nurses to build confidence while providing complex care. Requirements

• Must be licensed in the State of Idaho as a Registered Nurse as defined by the Idaho State Board of Nursing
• BLS (Basic Life Support) for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at hire in all units unless currently certified in ACLS and/or PALS as defined in the SAHS Certification Crosswalk or Heart & Stroke BLS Certificate required
