Job Title: RN - 3W Ortho
Location: Anchorage, Alaska
Hours: Full Time (36 Hours Weekly), Day Shift:Our hospital is seeking compassionate and skilled Registered Nurses to join the 3W Ortho team in Anchorage, Alaska. As part of our community of caregivers, you will contribute to our mission of providing accessible and compassionate care to all, especially to the most vulnerable populations.In this role, you will apply your specialized orthopedic nursing skills to provide world-class health care with a human connection. Every day, your care and dedication will make a difference in the lives of our patients as you work to improve their health and recovery.Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients on the orthopedic unit , including pre-and post-operative care.
  • Administer medications, manage pain, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
  • Educate patients and families about post-surgical care, mobility, and rehabilitation strategies.
  • Monitor patients\' conditions, including vital signs, and respond to changes in status promptly and effectively.
  • Ensure accurate documentation in compliance with hospital policies and regulations.
Required Qualifications:
  • Education: Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Licensure: Alaska Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
