:This is a per diem/on call position for day shift.The Hospice Nurse serves as a member of the interdisciplinary hospice team, assessing, planning, and providing nursing care to terminally ill patients. In doing so, the nurse addresses, in a holistic way, the needs of terminally ill patients and their families. The nurse strives to anticipate changes in patients' conditions, avoid crises, promote patient and family choice, assure continuity of care, and enhances the quality of life of dying patients.Providence caregivers are not simply valued - they're invaluable. • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 year Nursing experience.
• Medical/Surgical, Hospice or Home Health experience.
