RN Job Summary:

Provides patient care at Roper St. Francis Health Care sites, as assigned, using approved protocols. Facilitate the timely communication of clinical advice to patients electronically or by phone as directed by practice providers. Ensure all needed medical records are available to care teams and providers prior to patient\xc3\xaf\xc2\xbf\xc2\xbds office visit. Coordinate with other team members to provide exceptional patient service. The RN should be proficient with eClinical Works (the EHR).

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing school.

Experience: One to two years RN experience, preferable.

Licensure/Certification: New grad RNs with a BON temporary work authorization must obtain Registered Nurse license within 90 days of hire. All other RNs must be currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of South Carolina or holds a current compact/multi-state license as a Registered Nurse in a recognized NCSBN Compact State and is not a permanent resident of SC. Must have a current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider Card.

Knowledge/Skills: Requires the ability to use clinical equipment including EKG machine, spirometer, Hemocue, Pulse Oxymeter. CMA Job Summary

Provide patient care in outpatient physician practice under the direction of the practicing MD, MLP or RN. Responsible for staging patients in preparation to see providers. Update all patient medications in the medication history at each visit. Perform patient related tasks as directed by practice providers. Facilitate the timely communication of clinical advice to patients electronically or by phone as directed by practice providers. Ensure all needed medical records are available to care teams and providers prior to patient\xe2\x80\x99s office visit. Coordinate with other team members to provide exceptional patient service. Assist with other clinical and clerical duties to ensure optimization of patient experience within the practice. The Medical Assistant should be proficient with the practice management software and the electronic health record (EHR).

Job Summary: Annual Wellness Visit Services

Responsible for accurate chart preparation for all RSFPP physicians. Schedule Medicare annual wellness visits in accordance to protocol, verify eligibility for Medicare annual wellness services, and contact patient via phone to gather responses for health risk assessment questionnaire. The candidate upholds the standards and strategic goals of the company wide Customer Services program and promotes quality service.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience: Completion of a Medical Assistant Training Program. Prefer 1 year of clinical experience.

Licensure/Certification: Current Certified Medical Assistant Certificate or Registered Medical Assistant. Must have a current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider Card.

Prepare patient and room for examination and treatment and assist in such procedures by positioning lights, securing equipment, etc. Assists physician or midlevel provider in exam room with procedures, provides instructions per physicians request on medications, treatments, or follow up. Document the medical record in an accurate, concise manner written and/or electronically. Transport patients via ambulation, wheelchair or stretcher as appropriate. Assemble equipment and supplies in preparation of diagnostic and/or treatment procedures to be performed. Clean, prepare and store trays, instruments or other supplies. Returns calls to patients, calls in medications approved by physician, or enters prescription information into system for electronic prescription program. Safely administers all medications / injections to the patient per written physician order.

3. Assist in business office responsibilities includes checking patients into our EMR (ARIA) system upon arrival in department. Answers multi-line telephone. Triage patient flow, patient scheduling, assist in ordering department supplies, filing/retrieving patient medical records. Preparing patient medical records for consultations and files/scans patient documents in our EMR. Coordinates patient scheduling for different procedures in the department and inside the Roper Healthcare System.
