Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Medical Surgical Registered Nurse for our hospital to ensure that we deliver exceptional care to our Med-Surg patients. \xc2\xb7 As a member of our team, you will be accountable for essential clinical knowledge that will positively affect patient outcomes within the scope of nursing practice while assessing, planning, intervening and evaluating care.

\xc2\xb7 You will display your strong and accurate clinical judgment and expert-nursing skills while following company polices including those related to confidentiality (written, verbal, electronic and digital).

\xc2\xb7 In collaboration with your healthcare team, you will report critical information or change in condition of patients.

\xc2\xb7 You will provide comfort and prevent suffering through presence and attentiveness that would include pain assessment and reassessment.

\xc2\xb7 As a Registered Nurse in this unit, you will document effectively, succinctly, and timely according to organizational policy.

\xc2\xb7 In order to provide a great patient experience, you will collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team to coordinate care for an effective and current plan of care.

Requirements:

\xc2\xb7 Diploma or Associates Degree from a professional nursing program (required)

\xc2\xb7 BSN or current enrollment in a BSN program at an accredited school of Nursing (preferred)

\xc2\xb7 Current licensure as an RN in the state of Virginia or current multi-state compact RN license with eligibility to practice in VA is required.

\xc2\xb7 American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider (required)

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• Registered Nurse
• Associate Degree

This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
