The hospital was the nation\xe2\x80\x99s first behavioral health care center to open a retail pharmacist operated, long-acting injection clinic. The clinic was established to help people adhere to prescribed medications for behavioral health conditions, such as substance use and psychotic disorders.Our MissionAs an academic health care system, we will transform the health of the communities we serve through compassionate, innovative, patient-centered care.Job SummaryThe Registered Nurse provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization specifically focused on behavioral health.The area of focus

• Age 12-18
• Acute mental health unit that may also provide care for patients with medical comorbidities, including adult detox

• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kentucky Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date.
• BLS required from American Heart Association.
• Associate Degree from accredited nursing program
• Ability to complete Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training and successful completion during new hire orientation.
