Responsibilities
Virginia Mason Medical Center, was recognized among the Best Hospitals in Washington state by U.S. News & World Report. We have a new full time RN Supervisor opening in our Hem/Onc ambulatory clinic available.
In this role you will:
Ensures smooth flow of department operations by directing the work of assigned staff, including RNs and support staff. Assigns and changes priorities within the work unit to assure exceptional quality and service. Acts as a resource to staff, providers and other personnel for all daily operational needs.
Recruits, hires, trains, disciplines and supervises staff including completion of performance evaluations and competency assessments. Maintains and updates staff procedures, staff training programs and quality assurance programs.
Assists with budget development and management. Assures cost-effective daily operations and allocation of resources to optimize available staff with demand for service.
Participates in improvement projects focused on achievement of annual goals and lean initiatives; ensures implementation of and adherence to improvement changes.
Ensures compliance with state, federal and regulatory agency requirements for facilities, clinical care and staff.

Qualifications
This position requires current licensure as a registered nurse plus three years acute care nursing. - Demonstrated ability to prioritize the demands of daily operations and organize resources required. - Also requires demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills, active listening skills and conflict mediation ability. - Demonstrated ability to facilitate change and build effective teams also required. Preferred: Bachelor\'s degree in nursing strongly preferred. Current RN Supervisory experience and or Charge RN experience is strongly preferred. Pay Range
$52.81 - $79.45 /hour
