The Virginian is searching for a Full-Time
RN Supervisor
for the Weekends . This role will be on a 12-hour schedule (Saturday and Sunday).The ideal candidate must be a good communicator, high organizational skills, knowledgeable of Microsoft Office/Point Click Care, and exceptional time management skills. Current or previous experience in a Skilled Nursing unit strongly preferred. We are seeking a Passionate and Strong RN leader to assist with oversight of our Health Care Center department.
Qualifications:
Licensed RN in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Experience/knowledge in LTC/MC/ AL; current clinical knowledge and experience with the senior population. Ability to collaborate and motivate other healthcare providers; strong/effective problem-solving skills. Display enthusiasm, leadership ability and tact. Strong computer skills, proficient with Electronic Health Record.
Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of an RN:
Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL), family/social activities and actively promote independent lifestyle of residents.
Responsible for identification of resident medical and behavioral changes and the development and monitoring of care plans and reassessment of each resident.
Provide daily report to the Director of Health Services concerning community conditions, personnel performance, resident conditions, and needs for nursing supplies.
Provide nursing care according to physician's orders and in conformance with recognized nursing practice, established standards, and administrative policies.
Ensure preventative, therapeutic, and rehabilitative services to residents and assist in the coordination of nursing care with care rendered by other disciplines.
Oversee and manage the Health Care Center department's clinical operations in the absence of the Director of Nursing.
Assist with Coordination of Staff schedules and Staff assignment
Prepare for and Assist with New Admissions of Residents
Serve as the backup for Prospective Residents who show interest in Marketing inquiries of the Health Care Center.
Respond to any and all Resident, Resident Family, and Guest needs and concerns.
Collaborate with Virginian Leadership to ensure smooth operations during each shift.
Willingness to be available for any/all emergencies regarding the community.

Compensation Range: $45.00 to $55.00 with great benefits!
Current RN staff ratio: 1:12
Schedule: 7AM-7PM (Saturday and Sunday)
