To learn more about Baptist Health, visit us at https://www.baptistfirst.org.The RN - Trauma Data Specialist shall coordinate the collection, verification, entry, and retrieval of Emergency department and Trauma data. This individual will input data into multiple systems/programs, including the trauma registry database, spreadsheets, and dashboards. The Specialist will review records and data to ensure report completion and dissemination is accurate. Additionally, the individual will participate in audits and other quality assurance activities to improve accuracy of data and optimization of information.Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent required. Degree in Nursing required. Experience working with Healthcare data and computer programs required.
- Two years of prior RN experience required.
- License / Certification required: Active RN license required; BLS required, ACLS preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology. Excellent computer skills. (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) Strong communication and customer relation skills. Strong analytical skills. Ability to work from broad directions and be self motivated.
