Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the ED Nurse Director, the Trauma Program Coordinator has responsibility for the effective implementation of the philosophy, goals, policies and procedures of the Hospital and the Trauma Service and their effect on patient care. The Trauma Program Coordinator will work with the ED Nurse Director, ED Medical Director and CNO. Under the direction of the ED Nurse Director, he/she is responsible for the organization of services and systems necessary for a multidisciplinary approach throughout the continuum of care.
REQUIREMENTS:
Graduate of Nursing school with five years of clinical experience. Current licensure in state of AK. Current CPR certification - American Heart Assoc; ACLS through American Heart Assoc. within 6 months of employment; PALS through American Heart Assoc. or ENPC through ENA within 6 months of employment; TNCC through ENA within 6 months of employment. Demonstrated clinical competence in emergency skills; effective communication skills and ability to deal with others; demonstrated conflict resolution skills; case management experience; program development experience to include marketing; ability to effectively teach others.

BSN
Location: Central Peninsula Hospital Emergency
Schedule: Full Time, Rotation, Trauma Coordinator position with requirement to work two shifts per pay period.
