Overview
Position Summary:
The In-Patient Wound Coordinator is responsible for maintaining oversight and coordinating the care of in-patients requiring wound and ostomy nursing interventions. The facilitation of nursing staff competency/education, specific to wound care and Performance Improvement activities, related to wound care. The Wound Program Coordinator will practice within the scope of the Nurse Practice Act of the State of Arkansas and the polices, procedures, and standards of Conway Regional Health Systems. The Wound Coordinator will demonstrate a commitment to teamwork through effective collaborative efforts.
Qualifications
Minimum Job Qualifications:
Current Arkansas Registered Nurse license pre-hire.
Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse Certification preferred
Complete CRMC-specific Medication Administration Cognitive Examination pre-hire.
Complete Computer-assisted New Employee Orientation day of hire.
Complete New Employee Classroom Orientation within 60 days
Complete Computer-assisted Nursing Orientation day of hire.
American Heart Association Basic Life Support course current
Complete CRMC House-wide Core Orientation Skills Checklist within 90 days.
Complete CRHS Leadership Course.
Complete CHRS-specific Meditech Order Entry System within 60 days.
Complete CHRS-specific Meditech Nursing Documentation System within 60 days.
Complete Point of Care Test skills demonstration within 60 days
