Job Description

Velocity Home Healthcare is looking for a Full Time Registered Nurse in the Northern VA area.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Establish care plan for patients Complete OASIS documents Communicate with the care team in regards to the patient's progress Disease Management Medication Management/Teaching/Administration Postoperative Management Pain Management Infusion Therapy Lab Draws Tracheostomy Care Foley Catheter Care Nasogastric Tube Care Intravenous Line Insertion and Care Wound Care and Wound V.A.C. Care Measurement of vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, respiration rate, lung sounds, pulse oximetry, and glucose as ordered by your physician
RN REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a valid RN license in the state of VA Graduation from an accredited RN program Applicants must possess basic computer literacy skills. Current documentation program is Wellsky (Kinnser) Prefer at least one year of home health experience. Must be familiar with OASIS documentation. Current CPR certification Valid driver's license and vehicle with insurance policy
RN SHOULD POSSESS:

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with a team Timeliness in response time for referrals and submission of documentation Aptitude in problem-solving ability Professional attitude and good communication skills.
WORK LOCATION:

Fairfax County Arlington County Prince William County Loudoun County Cities of Fairfax, Alexandria, Falls Church, Manassas Park and Manassas*

Coverage of at least 2 counties/Cities are preferable*

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: $80-$120 per visit. If interested in part-time, salary to be discussed at the interview.

Note: Per visit rate negotiable based on experience.
