Job Description
A leading EHS consulting business is looking for an experienced Safety / Industrial Hygiene Specialist to join its services team at a client\'s site. The incumbent will be responsible for supporting industrial hygiene & safety projects, conducting assessments, investigations, and IH sampling & monitoring. This role will cover the evening shift from 4:30 p.m. to 2:30 a.m.
The Role:
- Performing constant real-time air monitoring at the client site to determine worker exposure to contaminants in the soil
- Perform inspections using a photoionization detector (PID)
- Advising on respiratory protection in real-time
- Perform additional industrial hygiene field work and safety consulting tasks as needed.
- 4+ years of experience in Safety and/or Industrial Hygiene in a high hazardous environment
- Understanding of good industrial hygiene practices
- Experience working at a refinery, or high-rise construction site
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated and comfortable communicating at all levels
- Availability to work the evening shift from 4:30 p.m. to 2:30 a.m.
