We are excited to announce we are hiring, in preparation for the opening of the
Crisis Recovery Center
, DuPage County Health Department Crisis Services is expanding the team to include the role of Safety Specialist. The Safety Specialist role will be one of the first points of contact for individuals coming into the current facility seeking crisis services and support. In this role, you will have primary responsibility for greeting and assisting clients upon entry into the building, overseeing the reception areas, and supporting a safe environment for all in the building. This position will work out of our current Crisis Center until our new facility is completed in late summer. Please go to the Crisis System Expansion page on the DCHD Website for additional information.The hours are Friday, Sunday and Monday, 10:00 pm to 8:00 am and Saturday from 5:00 pm to 3:00 am. The starting pay is $15.65 per hour, along with a $2.00 per hour shift differential for our second shift and a $2.50 per hour differential for our overnight shift. (Hourly rate may increase due to experience)
