The Sales Enablement Specialist will assist the Director of Enablement and the Sales Operations team by helping to improve the effectiveness of Spok sales employees through the design, development and implementation of the tools, technology, and training required to help enable the success of our sales professionals. This role will assist in the building, implementation and delivery of curriculum, programs and services that maximize the effectiveness of Spok sales professionals; and assist in the building of tools that support the needs of the sales force.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
\xc2\xb7 Design, create and implement enablement programs for sales teams addressing competency gaps spanning solution selling skills, product knowledge, product launches, outcome selling, and operational efficiency to improve sales productivity.
\xc2\xb7 Play key role in the new hire onboarding program and on-going enablement programs including eLearning, virtual instructor led training, workshops, and strategic events like annual Sales Kick Off.
\xc2\xb7 Design, build, and train sales onboarding and ongoing education for all members of the sales team. Assist with development and delivery of live remote, on-site classes, and meeting content.
\xc2\xb7 Test and validate course effectiveness through various means and reporting functions.
\xc2\xb7 Manage and maintain ongoing training records and reporting and implement analytics to monitor and identify sales stage friction and enablement priorities.
\xc2\xb7 Become a subject matter expert (SME) in the integrated use of the tools in our sales process. Within tech stack, manage user permissions, create cadences/sequences, and help document and optimize processes designed to increase sales productivity. Maintain SME level utilization of existing tech stack, as well as finds ways to maximize to support the needs of sales professionals. Assist with maintenance of the online learning system to facilitate easy learner interaction. Ensure all new hires are correctly set-up in learning systems for all required onboarding.
\xc2\xb7 Enhance the adoption of CRM and manages reporting functions of utilization rates.
\xc2\xb7 Make process improvements focused on driving improved effectiveness in demonstration delivery, removing technical obstacles, and ultimately accelerating increased bookings.
\xc2\xb7 Assist in identification, implementation and improvement of additional tools and technology that increase the effectiveness of the sales organizations.
\xc2\xb7 Develop deep understanding of sales organization\'s procedures, practices, processes, systems, technology, and culture to incorporate into training initiatives.
\xc2\xb7 Build and maintain strong working relationships with sales leaders and SMEs from across the business to set priorities for training topics and programs.
\xc2\xb7 Improve demo effectiveness across solution portfolio by building scripts and improving selling skills of the business development and sales engineering teams.
\xc2\xb7 Keep abreast of emerging trends and the competitive landscape as they pertain to technology, learning, and development in the sales enablement area.
\xc2\xb7 Complete special projects as required to facilitate the success of the sales team.
Required Education, Skills, and Experience
Bachelor\'s degree from four-year college or university
Experience in the Healthcare IT space is a plus!
\xc2\xb7 2-3 years of experience in analytics/training/sales operations/enablement.
\xc2\xb7 Ability to creatively design and build digital learning courses and curriculum.
\xc2\xb7 Ability to dynamically present and train others online and in-person when needed.
