Job Summary: The Sales Manager at Ghent Motor Company is a full-time, management position in the auto industry. Located in Greeley, Colorado, the Sales Manager will be responsible for overseeing the sales operations and driving profitability of the dealership. Compensation & Benefits: The Sales Manager position at Ghent Motor Company offers a competitive compensation package including a compensation plan with earnings of $90,000 to $180,000 per year, based on experience and performance, as well as a commission structure. In addition, the employee will also receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes healthcare, dental, and vision insurance, as well as paid time off and retirement options.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage all aspects of the dealership\'s sales department, including new and used car sales, finance and insurance, and customer satisfaction.
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets and increase profitability.
Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team goals.
Ensure that all sales personnel follow company policies and procedures.
Create and maintain a positive and professional work environment for the sales department.
Monitor and analyze sales reports and performance metrics to identify areas of improvement and implement corrective actions.
Collaborate with other departments, such as service and parts, to maximize overall dealership performance.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and other industry professionals.
Stay updated on industry trends, market changes, and competitors\' activities to make informed business decisions.
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in automotive sales, with at least 2 years in a management role.
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Strong leadership and team-building skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Solid understanding of automotive sales and finance processes.
Proficient in using sales and customer relationship management software.
Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed.
