Craft Massachusetts - Sales Representative - Boston - On Premise

What you will do:

Capture market share within the City of Boston through successful sale, distribution and placement of our beer and spirits portfolio

Build impeccable relationships with buyers and owners in the on premise channel

Maintain a regular schedule of weekly appointments with accounts in assigned territory ( Downtown Boston and Cambridge )

Develop new accounts within the territory

Work with supplier partners to ensure successful growth of their products

Organize and execute proper merchandising with permanent and paper POS

Conduct promotions in accounts on a regular basis

Handle customer inquiries regarding credit, delivery, product information and other inquiries

Adhere to accounts receivable collections according to CMA credit policy

Maintain thorough knowledge of territory and market conditions

Perform other duties, as assigned

What we are looking for:
Direct experience of at least 2 years in the alcohol industry
Willingness to learn the depths of our beer, spirits, and wine portfolio through continued self education

Ability and willingness to work in both a team environment and independently
Excellent oral and written communications skills
Strong time management and organizational skills

BA/BS degree

Willingness to work evenings and weekends in order to capture market share
Travel required: 5 days a week in the trade, within assigned territory (Downtown Boston and Cambridge)
Valid and clean driver\xe2\x80\x99s license with active auto insurance and access to a vehicle

Physical Demands:

Ability to operate a two handed truck loaded with cases of beer or a half keg [ 165lbs ]

Ability to bend, stoop, lift, and reach overhead

Ability to carry two cases of beer at at time
