Job Overview:


The Sales Specialist will be responsible for leading the customer interface and the advanced sales function. They will solve commercial issues and enhance customer relationships, ensuring sustainable business with current customers and generating new business with potential customers.


Job Responsibilities:


Sales/Commercial


Lead the Advanced Sales/Commercial Development function with current and potential customers.


Serve as the commercial lead or leverage organizational resources to manage the commercial sales process.

Resolve commercial issues related to pricing, manufacturing, material control, and others to ensure sustainable business management. Develop negotiation strategies to protect the company's profitability and/or sales. Lead the quoting process, including Quote Process, Program Start, and Award program. Manage the Commercial Issues List and close commercial issues within committed timeframes, including supporting cash/account receivable management.

Customer

Act as the primary point of contact with related customer teams.


Build strong customer relationships that deliver value to the company and increase confidence/desire to work with Transys.


Effectively communicate the benefits, key messages, and technical specifications of Transys.


Regularly report the "voice of the customer" to COO and Headquarters management teams, including innovation priorities.


Drive sales strategies for commercializing innovations aligned with Transys' goals.

Process

Establish frequent communication with the customer to address commercial/technical requests from Transys.


Work with external and internal customers based on Transys' 5 core values: Customer, Challenge, People, Collaboration, and Globalization.


Prioritize harmony with teams in customer and Transys teams.


Provide/collect market inf01mation from customers, competitors, etc., regarding product, pricing/cost, and commercial strategy/direction.


Ensure timely updates and accuracy of sales forecasting data.

Experience

:


Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field of study. Candidates with at least six (6) years or more years of proven sales experience with progressive scopes of responsibility may be considered in lieu of degree.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of sales experience in support of manufacturing or industrial businesses. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

A track record of success working towards deadlines, multitasking, and operating in a dynamic environment.

Ability to build partnerships with internal and external customers. Exceptional skills with SAP or similar enterprise software, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and other Microsoft Office tools.
