Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Sales Team Lead. This is an inside sales and team lead role. This business unit handles the sales of electric and pneumatic actuators, valves, and repair services to power utilities, oil refineries, oil and gas pipelines, water, and wastewater plants throughout the Midwest.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively develop and maintain relationships with an assigned customer base, including key accounts, ensuring their satisfaction with our products and services at all times.
  • Respond to customer requests for quotations and orders of automation packages in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Diligently train and seek information to become knowledgeable about electric and pneumatic actuators, valves, repair services, and pipeline equipment.
  • Gather the necessary application data to effectively make product selections.
  • Answer customers\' questions about products, prices, availability, product uses, and credit terms.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements, to promote the sale of company products and services, and to provide sales support.
  • Determine pricing and discount rates.
  • Work with all personnel to ensure great customer service from the order to the delivery.
  • Resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service.
  • Continually enhance sales skills and product knowledge in order to promote a professional image in the field.
  • Assist with daily operational, safety, and administrative duties at the branch.
Qualifications
  • 5-7 years of sales experience preferred.
  • Management experience a plus!
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Engineering or technical background preferred.
  • Experience in industrial valves and automation preferred.
  • Experience with CAD preferred.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate individuals and teams.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

Pay Range:

- $21.41 - $46.54

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
