The Biosense Webster Sales Training Representative (STR) Program is a 12-14 month program designed to provide the necessary development for a career in the competitive and rewarding medical device industry. During your time in headquarters, you will have the opportunity to learn from the best sales representatives in the field as well as build connections across multiple sectors in the Biosense Webster office. When successfully completed, the STR Program leads to an Associate Territory Manager (ATM) role and subsequent leadership responsibility within Johnson & Johnson. The STR Program is focused on building the skills necessary to drive business growth through learning and executing training programs (live and virtual) through blended learning.
Additionally, as a member of the Commercial Education team, the STR will provide support and expertise through field training, account conversions, engagement with key customers at professional education events, as well as support other ongoing customer engagement activities.
The STR will learn to provide education and training regarding Biosense Webster\'s key platform of Electrophysiology. The STR will quickly become an extension of the collaborative Field Sales Organization. Pivotal to success will be the ability to develop the clinical and business acumen necessary to meet the needs of our customers and Field Sales Organization training needs, while exceeding business objectives.
The base salary for this position is $70,000.

After the initial 12-14-month development program period, and with demonstrated proficiency to work within the STR role, the STR must relocate (with company relocation assistance) to the hiring area for the transition to the Associate Territory Manager role. As an ATM, you will be required to be aligned for up to 24 additional months and begin to support customers by working with and under the guidance of the local sales team. Following successful completion of the ATM role, promotion to Territory Manager may include an additional relocation within the area.

Mid-Atlantic: Kentucky, Ohio, Pennsylvania (Philadelphia) and Pennsylvania (Lancaster), New York (Buffalo) and New York (Rochester), West Virginia
South Atlantic: Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, Eastern Tennessee, Virginia, Washington, DC

Education & Experience:
\xc2\xb7 Bachelor\'s or Master\'s Degree attained from an accredited university/college between December 2020 and December 2023 and a minimum of 2 years of professional sales experience (non-medical) is required
or
\xc2\xb7 Bachelor\'s or Master\'s Degree attained from an accredited university/college and military leadership experience (Jr. Military Officer) is required. Separation from the military within 6 is months preferred.
Other:
\xc2\xb7 Ability to start work on a full-time basis by January 2024 is required.
\xc2\xb7 Minimum overall cumulative GPA of 3.0 based upon 4.0 scale is required.
\xc2\xb7 Sales, Engineering, Life Science or Business academic major is preferred.
\xc2\xb7 Strong track record of academic and other successes is preferred.
\xc2\xb7 Completion of school-sponsored selling skills program is preferred.
\xc2\xb7 Demonstrated leadership and/or participation in community service activities are preferred.
\xc2\xb7 Strong interpersonal communication, influencing, critical thinking and problem-solving skills required.
\xc2\xb7 A qualified candidate will be efficient, organized, self-motivated, positive, and pro-active.
\xc2\xb7 As a part of the STR Program, relocation to the designated home office in Irvine, CA is required for the length of the training program (12-14 months).
\xc2\xb7 The STR will be hired for a specific company sales area and relocation to that pre-identified sales area after completion of the STR Program is required. For the January 2024 cohort, the pre-identified sales areas are Great Plains, Mid Atlantic, and South Atlantic.
\xc2\xb7 Willingness and ability to relocate geographically within the United States is required.
\xc2\xb7 Ability to travel which may include weekend and/or overnight travel.
\xc2\xb7 Legal authorization to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future is required.
\xc2\xb7 Must possess a valid United States driver\'s license.
