We are seeking a talented and passionate Line Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts and experience in menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen management. This role is essential in delivering high-quality dining experiences. The Line Chef will be responsible for ensuring food safety and maintaining the highest standards of kitchen operations.
Responsibilities
Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
Ensure all food safety regulations are followed, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Train and mentor kitchen staff, including cooks and dietary aides, to enhance their culinary skills.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and order as necessary to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
Maintain quality control by tasting dishes before serving to ensure consistency and excellence in flavor.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Line Chef or in a similar culinary role within fine dining or restaurant settings.
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
Strong communication skills to collaborate with staff and understand customer needs.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Culinary degree or equivalent experience is preferred but not mandatory.
