job summary:
A Schedule Planner is needed for an American corporation that manufactures agricultural, construction, and forestry machinery, diesel engines, drivetrains (axles, transmissions, gearboxes) used in heavy equipment, and lawn care equipment in the Waterloo, IA area. This role involves planning and scheduling manufacturing processes, coordinating material requirements, and assisting with various production activities, all while emphasizing effective communication, computer proficiency, and administrative support.
location: Waterloo, Iowa
job type: Contract
salary: $17.25 - 19.74 per hour
work hours: 8am to 5pm
education: Bachelors
responsibilities:
- Plan and schedule simple manufacturing processes for current production and service parts.
- Develop line sequencing of options and provide work direction if needed.
- Schedule production and service parts.
- Expedite production and purchased parts.
- Communicate and coordinate engineering and material changes.
- Assist production department in manpower planning.
- Perform general administrative duties.
- Coordinate department\'s inventory integrity and accuracy, including production and scrap reporting.
- strong communication skills.
- Good computer skills.
- Previous professional work experience preferred.
- Manufacturing experience is a plus but not required.
