School Based Counselor/Supervisor

Under the direction of Clinical Site Supervisor and Regional Director, this role will supervise the school navigators within the local school districts. Collaborate with local school districts regarding school navigation programming, complete multiple screening tools to assess for most appropriate level of care; identify any barriers to client and families attending ongoing counseling appointments and facilitating resolution of those barriers acting in the consumer\xe2\x80\x99s best interest at all times; coordinates and monitors appropriateness of all services; provides assistance in crisis situations to stabilize consumer and maintain consumer in the least restrictive treatment setting; provides consultation to teaching staff when requested, conducts emergency intakes and complete assessments. The School Based Counselor/Supervisor must possess a valid State of Ohio LPCC or LISW licensure.

School Based Counselor/Supervisor Requirements

• Masters degree in social work, counseling or marriage and family therapy and appropriate license required.
• One (1) year of experience in the field of chemical dependence or mental health treatment with appropriate license, preferred.
• Valid State of Ohio LPCC, LISW, or IMFT required
