Job Description

The Governor Wentworth Regional School District is seeking a licensed school psychologist for full time employment for the 23-24 school year. This position is to support students who are eligible to receive the benefits of school psychologist services whether through an Individualized Education Plan or 504 plan. This position has the potential to impact more students beyond the special education eligibility determination. A school psychologist has the ability to help remove barriers to mental health services. The school psychologist would be able to provide clinical supervision to our district counseling team.

Under the direction of the Director of Special Education and Counseling, the School Psychologist provides direct treatment services, psycho diagnostic services, risk assessments, and consultation services.

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: Master\xe2\x80\x99s Degree and/or advanced graduate degree in School Psychology. One to five years of experience in school psychology, with clinical experience also considered.

CERTIFICATE AND LICENSE REQUIREMENTS: Certified through the New Hampshire State Department of Education as an Associate School Psychologist, School Psychologist (0046) or licensed through the New Hampshire Board of Mental Health.

SALARY
Salary is based upon certifications, experience, and education.
