Job Summary:

The Scope Reprocessing Technician, is responsible for ensuring that endoscopic equipment is properly cleaned, disinfected, and ready for use. Key duties include -



1.

Cleaning and Disinfection

: Thoroughly clean and disinfect endoscopes and other related equipment following established protocols.



2.

Inspection and Maintenance

: Inspect equipment for damage or wear and perform routine maintenance as needed.



3.

Documentation

: Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, cleaning, and maintenance.



4.

Compliance

: Ensure all procedures comply with health and safety regulations and standards.



5.

Support

: Assist medical staff during procedures by preparing and providing necessary equipment.


Cross training available to include - Front Desk, GI Tech, and PACU Assist.



Pay Range: $19.00 - $22.00/hour depending on experience

Required Skills:

High school graduate or equivalent Current BLS certification One year experience in an endoscopy or gastroenterology preferred. Able to read, write, and communicate Displays a primary interest in giving good patient care and maintaining standards of courtesy and friendliness
