We are seeking a self-motivated, skilled Seamstress to join our team at Wooded River Inc. We are a small family owned manufacturing company of bedding, pillows, home decor and upholstery furniture located in beautiful Caldwell, ID.

Summary

In this role, you will be instrumental in fabricating and constructing high-quality upholstered furniture including cut room, sewing, and inspection, contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional products that reflect our passion for rustic design.

Responsibilities

Work in a fast-paced manufacturing facility. Adhere to production quotas. Cutting: Lifting Rolls of fabrics and cutting material patterns. Sewing: Sew a variety of items, Bedding, pillows, drapery, furniture covers When using machines, exhibit great safety practices and common sense. Inspection: Cleaning, folding, packaging, boxing Product Wear work-appropriate clothing, and protective equipment when required. Maintain a clean and productive work environment.

Qualifications

Previous sewing or manufacturing experience is a plus but not mandatory Able to bend, flex, lift up to 50 pounds, squat, and stretch. Able to stand or sit for long periods of time Capacity to communicate effectively verbally and written Must have a positive, friendly attitude for a drama free work environment. Must have great hand-eye coordination. Basic to moderate math skills Adhere to a drug screening and background check. Have reliable transportation to work

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
