LOCATION: North Maintenance Shop: 2839 Mt. View Drive, Anchorage, AKExample of DutiesThe primary purpose of this position is to maintain the Municipality of Anchorage park land and facilities in a safe and usable condition for the general public to enjoy. This position performs routine park maintenance under general supervision. Winter season Duties: litter collection; snow & ice removal from sidewalks; outdoor recreational ice maintenance; track setting; trail grooming and maintenance; special event preparation and support; and general grounds cleaning and repair. Summer season Duties: turf and irrigation maintenance; removal & cleanup of unauthorized or illegal campsites; litter collection; athletic and multi-use field maintenance; trail maintenance; park fence and barrier repairs; park shelters, amenities and equipment cleaning and repair; special event preparation and support; and general grounds and facility care.
