Your Opportunity
Accurate data is the top priority for our Geomatics team. Through our work, we measure, process, and analyze spatial data and define land boundaries. We provide our clients a full range of Geomatics, surveying, and mapping services. You will perform routine technical and manual surveying while working on a survey crew. Duties include performing tasks in measuring distances, angles, and positions of field evidence, preparing field notes, worksheets and diagrams. The work is performed under the direction of assigned staff.
Your Key Responsibilities
Assists Survey Crew Chief on a field crew working on various construction and land surveying projects.
Uses knowledge of the general concepts of land surveying to assist the project team in the preparation of accurate, complete, and value-added survey work products.
Loads vehicles with tools and equipment, ensuring materials are loaded correctly.
Performs other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned.
Qualifications
Your Capabilities and Credentials
Developing written and verbal communication skills.
Strong math skills, including algebra and trigonometry.
Basic knowledge of any mapping or CAD software.
Developing understanding of field instrumentation, GPS, and robotic total stations.
Valid driver\'s license with acceptable driving record preferred but not required.
Education and Experience
Associates degree or greater, or working towards, or equivalent experience in Geomatics, Surveying or related field.
Minimum of 0-2 years of experience.
Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather and uneven terrain.
