We offer medical, dental and vision coverage, life insurance, retirement plan, employee assistance programs, company discounts, perks and more for most full-time positions!Allied Universal is Hiring a Security Officer with a Driver\'s License to work at a Telecommunications equipment supplier in Santa Clara, CA!Pay Rate: $26.00Shift: Graveyard, 12am - 8am, Saturday and Sunday, 16 hours a weekRequirements:*Must have 2 or more years of security experience*Must be over the age of 21*Must have a driver\'s license*Must be able to pass a background check*Be comfortable working in the elements*Be comfortable standing, walking, or sitting for long periods of time*Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proficiency in the English language is requiredJob duties may include, but are not limited to:*Patrol by vehicle and by foot for several buildings*Filling out reports*Watching camerasDriving Positions: must possess a valid Driver\xe2\x80\x99s License with at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record (no major violations within last 36 months, no more than 1 accident in last 24 months, no more than one minor moving violation in last 24 months), a minimum level of insurance as required by Company policy, and the ability to safely operate a vehicle required.As a Security Guard, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, Government and more.Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
