SUMMARY Provide a safe and secure environment for guests and employees.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Includes the following:
Provides protection for the physical assets of CNE properties including guests and employees; reports all safety hazards to leadership.
Prevents guests from entering premises with prohibited items; addresses guests who are in violation of policies and procedures.
Patrols the physical facilities of CNE properties, including casinos, smoke shops, and parking lots.
Greets guests at property and provides directions and assistance, as needed.
Provides aid to any guest or employees who may request or require it
Responds to accidents and incidents; performs CPR and first aid procedures, as needed.
Detects suspicious activity and behavior of guests and employees and notifies leadership.
Maintains a good working relationship with local law enforcement agencies and fire and safety departments.
Maintains detailed written reports of incidents following policies and procedures.
Ensures compliance with CNE age requirements and policies by reviewing guests\' identification.
Performs operational knowledge of excluded persons.
Prepares written reports of investigations, criminal, and patrol activities.
Interviews witnesses and obtains signatures; complies with legal regulations.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY No supervisory/management authority.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 6 months experience in security or related field. State of Oklahoma Council of Law Enforcement, Education, and Training (CLEET) armed security guard license required. Cherokee Nation Armed Security Officer license required.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Working knowledge of firearms and defensive tactics.
Working knowledge of surveillance video system and how chain of evidence is maintained.
Ability to pass a CNE security approved custody control and weapons training.
Ability to obtain and maintain licensing by the appropriate gaming authority.
Must have and maintain a valid driver\'s license.
WORK ENVIRONMENT Work may be performed in a variety of settings, including climate-controlled office settings, outdoors in all types of weather, and/or casino floors which includes exposure to second-hand smoke and crowd noise. Work may require lifting and carrying materials up to 50lbs. Must have flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays, as needed.
