:

Full-Time, 2nd Shift Hamburg

Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry. Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; restraining trespassers. Responsible for the performance of all officers on assigned shift. Trains new officers and handles initial counseling concerning performance. Makes security and safety related decisions based on guidance from Security supervisor. Ability to perform essential duties with limited supervision. Use non-violent crisis intervention when needed to deal with visitors, patients, families and employees. May deal with patients and customers in all age categories from infant to geriatric.

\xc2\xb7 High school diploma or equivalent GED

\xc2\xb7 Valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license and clean drivers record

\xc2\xb7 Ability to achieve Basic Life Support, BLS certification within 90 days of hire (For Floyd Location: must have upon orientation)

\xc2\xb7 Ability to successfully achieve Taser X-26 certification, baton and hand-cuff training

\xc2\xb7 Former experience with a law enforcement agency, and/or military experience preferred.

\xc2\xb7 Certified Healthcare Security officer (CHSO) with International Association of Healthcare Security and Safety certification required.
